My reflection

What I have learned in this class

I have learned a great variety of computer tools, which make me a more confident user of technology. PC’s and Mc’s software are great tools that I can expand and enhanced the knowledge of my students. I feel that the knowledge I have gain in this class about technology has definitely strengthen my abilities as a user.

How I saw myself before and how I see myself now.

I see myself like a truly user of computers. Even though I have been a user and taught technology to my students, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the software we studied. This class deepened my knowledge in all the features that I could use to teach. This class has also awakened in me more curiosity and desire of utilize computers in my classroom because I feel myself more confident about using them.

In what ways this will help me in the future.

I think that the first thing this class has contributed to is by spark more curiosity about the different features of the different programs. The endless possibilities of using technology to teach is something that I see myself exploring more and deepen even more, to be able to become a more efficient technology user . The technology tools I have been equipped by taking this class will be of great value in my job with my students. I feel more confident using the different software; especially I have gain knowledge with the use of Apple computers, which I did not have before. iphoto, imovie and iweb are great tools that I plan to incorporate in my instruction. I hope that I can continue learning about the different programs and web 2.0 tools to keep my knowledge updated.
